We are proud to announce that Zins Restaurant is now open for lunch, dinner, and a Sunday brunch at the corner of 2nd Ave and 3rd St in downtown Cedar Rapids. Located in the historic Ely Building, Zins provides a warm and inviting yet stylish and sophisticated platform from which to deliver several concepts unique to our market.  Zins is committed to contributing to the growth of Cedar Rapids and the downtown area. In order to make your visit to Zins more convenient, and to help expand all downtown activities, we exclusively offer valet parking every evening.

The talented Zins kitchen serves the highest quality, creative food in a “small-plates” style. Similar to the Spanish Tapas concept, each menu item is made from scratch and designed to offer 6-12 bites at very accessible prices.  At dinner, our menu is divided into five sections: “Nibble” is a collection of unusual snack-type items suitable for sitting at the bar or table. “Begin” includes an array of tempting starters. “Reminisce” offers familiar favorites in new ways. “Experience” is a showcase for our creativity. “Indulge” presents a range of fun desserts for only $2 each!  Lunch is also a small plates experience. The menu is extensive and offered “prix-fixe.” For only $8, our guests select two of our small plates plus a soft beverage! The desserts from our Indulge section are also available at the same, low $2 menu price! Our beverage menus have been designed with the same care as our food. A major feature of our full bar is our extensive, 20 wines-by-the-glass program, the bottles constantly culled from our opening list of nearly 60 wines. We’re proud to introduce our OZ, Australian-built, state-of-the-art wine dispensing equipment to Cedar Rapids. The system is a closed, nitrogen-charged method of dispensing and, more importantly, preserving bottled wine. It enables Zins to ensure a quality product at an accessible price, much like our approach to food. And we don’t treat spirits or beer with any less care. We work hard to maintain a small but quality beer menu.  You will be pleased to find the best selections possible of domestic, craft-brewed, and imported beers.
